Verifactu mandatory deadline: July 2027

The Verifactu obligation timeline:

- July 2025: It became illegal to produce, market, or use invoicing software that doesn't meet Verifactu requirements (even if the full system isn't mandatory yet).

- July 2027: All businesses and autonomos must use Verifactu-compliant software for all invoices. Every invoice must include a cryptographic hash and QR code.

What this means for you as an autonomo:

- You should switch to compliant software before the deadline

- Any invoices issued after July 2027 without Verifactu compliance may not be legally valid

- k-factu is compliant from day one — you're already covered
